چکیده

This paper proposes a generalized Bell-like inequality (GBI) for multiparticle entangled Schr\"odinger cat states of arbitrary spin $s$. Based on quantum probability statistics, the GBI and violation are formulated in unified manner with help state density operator, which can be separated into local nonlocal parts. The part gives rise to inequality, while is responsible violation. not violated at all by average, except spin-$1/2$ states. If measuring outcomes restricted subspace coherent (SCS), namely, only maximum values $\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}s$, still meaningful incomplete measurement. With SCS it proved that occur half-integer spins integer spins. Moreover, bound depends number parity particles, $1/2$ odd particle numbers 1 even numbers.

Experimental violation of a spin-1 bell inequality using maximally entangled four-photon states.

We demonstrate the experimental violation of a spin-1 Bell inequality. The spin-1 inequality is based on the Clauser, Horne, Shimony, and Holt formalism. For entangled spin-1 particles, the maximum quantum-mechanical prediction is 2.55 as opposed to a maximum of 2, predicted using local hidden variables. We obtained an experimental value of 2.27+/-0.02 using the four-photon state generated by p...

Maximally entangled states and the Bell inequality∗

Kar’s recent proof showing that a maximally entangled state of two spin-1/2 particles gives the largest violation of a Bell inequality is extended to N spin-1/2 particles (N ≥ 3). In particular, it is shown that all the states yielding a direct contradiction with the assumption of local realism do generally consist of a superposition of maximally entangled states. Recently, Kar (see Ref. [1], a...

Intermediate spin, Schrödinger cat states, and nanomagnets.

Quantum tunneling in nanomagnets finds a natural description in terms of intermediate spin. Periodic magnetic effects correspond to a change of flux by the flux quantum Phi(0). Schrödinger cat states with different superpositions of the applied magnetic field occur. The molecular magnet Fe(8) is discussed and new effects are predicted for Mn(12).

Bell inequality, Bell states and maximally entangled states for n qubits

First, we present a Bell-type inequality for n qubits, assuming that m out of the n qubits are independent. Quantum mechanics violates this inequality by a ratio that increases exponentially with m. Hence an experiment on n qubits violating this inequality sets a lower bound on the number m of entangled qubits. Next, we propose a definition of maximally entangled states of n qubits. For this pu...

Violation of Bell inequality and entanglement of decaying Werner states

Bell-inequality violation and entanglement, measured by Wootters’ concurrence and negativity, of two qubits initially in Werner or Werner-like states coupled to thermal reservoirs are analyzed within the master equation approach. It is shown how this simple decoherence process leads to generation of states manifesting the relativity of two-qubit entanglement measures.  2004 Elsevier B.V. All r...
